Mental Health First Aid Refresher
What is a Mental Health First Aid Refresher Course?
The MHFA (Mental Health First Aid) Refresher course is a 4 hour course for people who have previously completed the 12 hour MHFA course within the last 3 years. The MHFA Refresher course will extend the certification for a further 3 years.
What will I learn?
The MHFA Refresher will give participants the opportunity to refresh their knowledge and skills they learnt during the full course.
During this course participants will:
- Gain an understanding of the latest research in mental health
- Learn the 3 key actions for helping someone feeling suicidal
- Work through complex mental health first aid interactions
- Practice mental health first aid skills
How will I learn?
We offer the MHFA Refresher course as an online course. This course consists of modules to complete beforehand and a 3 hour webinar.
How much is the course?
Our online Mental Health First Aid Refresher course is currently on a special introductory price of £50 per person.
Do I get a certificate for attending the course?
Yes. By completing the MHFA Refresher course, your certification as a Mental Health First Aider is renewed for a further 3 years.
